This is a delightful piece of wooden sculpture
by Swedish Artist Trygg

4 " w x 4 " d x 10.5" h

This carving is amazing as you can see the impish look
on the man's face - his smile is as infectious as any
salesman's. Look carefully at the single brace that
holds up his trousers and the flower in his collar.

The shoes are like none we have ever seen before and
they might even be both home designed and made.
The trousers and shirt have seen better days with leather repairs
on his left leg and a hole waiting for repairs on his right.

The complete look of confidence despite the hard times
as captured by the carver probably as seen by many
men in the dirty 30's in the Canadian Maritimes.

A must for any home or office desk or fireplace mantle
